Back to Bones stands poised between ancient stars being formed to humans on one planet Earth. With modern technology, a blend of ethnomusicology and the state, gut-blues coming from the past to the future. “Back-porch songs from the past,” Back to Bones plays an array of instruments both ancient and modern, including West African kamale ngonis, jaw harps, whamola basses, fender telecaster custom, Kalimba, didgeridoo, HandPan, JOLA AKONTING, Chapman NS Stick, and mouth harps from around earth, all interwoven into modern creation. Hailing from the underground west coast electronic bass music scene Back to Bones finds itself at the forefront of experimental music production mixing in their wide array of world instruments.
